LA Blade - Verizon and Christopher Street West, the non-profit organization that produces LA Pride Festival and Parade, have partnered up for a two-year deal.

The partnership makes Verizon the first sponsor for LA Pride and will allow Verizon to take part in LA Pride’s 50th-anniversary celebration.

“Los Angeles is not just home to the world’s first pride, it’s also home to an incredibly diverse community with amazing history,” sGuru Gowrappan, CEO of Verizon Media, said in a statement. “As we roll out the next generation of product and technology, we are keenly focused on how we enable people to share powerful stories of advocacy, diversity, inclusiveness and compassion – all things that are woven into the fabric of LA Pride.”
