One City One Pride screening of "LA: A Queer History" - West Hollywood City Council Chambers
Wednesday, June 26, 2019
07:00pm - 09:00pm

Join the City of West Hollywood's Arts Division on Wednesday, June 26, for a free screening and talkback of the almost completed documentary "LA: A Queer History" with director Gregorio Davila. Many consider the NY Stonewall Riots of 1969 to be the birth of the LGBTQ civil rights movement. But there have been activists, artists and innovators in L.A. since the turn of the 20th century. L.A. A Queer History is an educational, exciting and emotional epic saga spanning nearly a century featuring artists, scholars and first hand accounts from LGBTQ elders who lived it.

The City of West Hollywood's One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival takes place from May 22-June 30. For more info and to see a full list of events please visit www.weho.org/pride or follow via social media @WeHoArts.

Due to attrition, City of West Hollywood Arts events are sometimes overbooked to ensure capacity. Therefore, seating is not guaranteed based on RSVP status. If a venue reaches capacity, we will be unable to admit guests, regardless of RSVP status.
