Beginning in 2019, monthly Heart2Heart Touch Workshops will be held at the Los Angeles LGBT Center at The Village at Ed Gould Plaza.
In the Los Angeles gay and bisexual men’s communities, seductive and sexual connections are commonplace. However without a deeper heart connection, men are often left with an unsatisfied, emotional emptiness. Heart2Heart Touch workshops are an opportunity for gay and bisexual men to empower themselves through giving and receiving supportive, non-sexual touch in a safe nourishing environment.
In the Heart2Heart Touch Workshops fully clothed participants explore supportive, sensual, non-sexual touch using their hands, arms, chest, shoulders, back, face or head. Soothing music and structured fun activities encourage participants to experience what it feels like to be safely held, to receive warm hugs, to have their heads tenderly stroked or to dance a slow dance cheek to cheek. The workshops establish healthy boundaries, creating guidelines for safety, communication and support. Within Touch Guidelines participants have choice, deciding how and where they are touched.
